Midterm Exam
The midterm exam is typically given at the end of January and assesses students on all of the material they have covered up to that point in the year.
The purpose of the midterm exam is in part to help students prepare and review for a comprehensive exam, as well as assess the student's understanding and ability to continue to apply mathematical concepts they will use all year long as well as in high school math.
Students will be provided with review material. While there will be review opportunities in class, students are encouraged to begin reviewing early, utilizing the packet and answer key, as well as revisit old notes, tests and quizzes. During in class review sessions, students should come each day with questions they have as there will be opportunities to have these questions answered.
